ACCOMPLISHMENTS

STRONG SCHOOLS

As a mom with a child in Nashua’s public schools, I know firsthand how important it is to invest in our students, teachers, and staff. I’ve fought for funding to ensure every student has access to English Language Learner teachers and school counselors, advocated for fair pay for our paraprofessionals, and championed ongoing training to help educators meet the needs of every learner. I supported construction of our new middle school and served on the Redistricting Committee to create a fair, effective plan for all families.

VIBRANT NASHUA

I’ve championed major projects that fuel economic growth and civic pride, including the Nashua Performing Arts Center, the Riverfront Development Plan, and efforts to expand commuter rail. I helped secure strategic planning goals that keep our city moving forward and have consistently supported arts, culture, and downtown revitalization efforts that make Nashua a destination.

ENERGY + ENVIRONMENT

As Chair of the Personnel/Administrative Affairs Committee and liaison to the Environment & Energy Committee, I’ve advanced Nashua’s climate goals—helping launch Community Power, expanding solar energy, and supporting sustainable transit. I championed the creation of a city energy manager position, backed the introduction of urban agriculture initiatives, and endorsed updated Environment & Energy recommendations to move Nashua toward a cleaner, more resilient future.

AFFORDABLE HOUSING

I co-authored the legislation that created Nashua’s Housing Trust Fund (now the Housing Revolving Fund), giving our city tools to build and preserve affordable homes. I’ve supported bringing in state and federal housing dollars to address the affordability crisis, and I continue to advocate for policies that ensure Nashua remains accessible and welcoming for all families.

COMMUNITY INFRASTRUCTURE

I’ve worked to ensure our emergency workers are paid fairly and equipped to keep our city safe. I’ve supported investments in paving, sewer system upgrades, and sidewalk expansions so our neighborhoods are safer and more connected. I also backed critical city facility upgrades—from police headquarters improvements to middle school renovations—because strong infrastructure is the foundation of a thriving Nashua.

SUPPORTING SMALL BUSINESSES

As a small business owner myself, I understand the challenges entrepreneurs face. I’ve pushed for policies that strengthen our downtown economy, including flexible outdoor dining rules that kept restaurants open through the pandemic and beyond. I continue to prioritize local business growth, because when our small businesses succeed, Nashua succeeds.
