MEET SHO

Shoshanna Kelly is an Alderwoman at-Large, a mother of two, and a small business owner in Nashua. Since her election in 2017 and re-election in 2022, Shoshanna has proudly supported public education, started Nashua’s Pride Festival, assisted small businesses, and fought the climate crisis at the local level. In her second term, she was the main sponsor of the Affordable Housing Trust Fund and is now part of the committee who is working to create more affordable units in Nashua.

Shoshanna grew up in the rural, but beautiful Lakes Region. She went to school in Meredith before they moved to Moultonborough for sixth grade. After graduating from Moultonborough Academy, Ms. Kelly attended Boston University with a major in Advertising. That’s where she met her husband David. An actual rocket scientist, David’s job pulled the couple back to New Hampshire in 2005. They settled in Nashua and have lived there.

Raising a family in Nashua and living here for so long has made Shoshanna want to use her experiences and incredible drive to make an impact in her community. As Southern New Hampshire moves forward in its mission to become a destination for young families and professionals, Shoshanna is ready to be the face of leadership that brings new ideas to the table. Along with serving on the Board of Aldermen, Shoshanna serves on the board of the Nashua Soup Kitchen & Shelter and Peacock Players. Shoshanna lives in Ward 5 with her husband, Dave, and their two children, Elsa and Miles, and their five chickens.
